I was checking out XFCE and found that a button in the toolbar wasn’t working. We did some checking and supposedly there’s some thing where if you load Cinnamon first and then XFCE that it loads an abbreviated version of XFCE. ChatGPT gave me some commands to bring in the missing parts and things are working good now.

I then figured out how to set new Launchers. I mistakenly thought you could load up a group of apps within one launcher and then open them all with one click. ChatGPT was like “nope, but you can if you want…” hahaha. It then immediately gave me everything I needed to set it up.

Whoa

Coming from Windows where there’s very little option for customizing the function of core items… I am impressed. It’s crazy that I never undertook this before now.

I am going to load up MATE and take a look at it.
